Practicing how to say ordinal numbers has never been more fun with this strategy-based numbers game!

Uses:

  • Can be used as a speaking and reading game to practice ordinal numbers
  • Great for ESL/EFL, but can be used for any foreign/second language learning as well as in math lessons as all text is editable

How it works:

(Based off of the Korean Baskin Robbins game for reference)

  • One by one, each student chooses to say the ordinal numbers on one, two, or three scoops of ice cream.
  • The unlucky student who says the number on the 31st scoop gets a BRAIN FREEZE, and the only way to "get rid of it" is by completing a challenge!
  • Once the student finishes the challenge, the game starts over with the student who got the brain freeze going first.

Format:

This game template has been created as a fun, animated PowerPoint. Additionally, if using this game for a different language or you would like to adjust the sentences for your class, all the text is editable.
