Make Your Own Invention Worksheet

For this activity, students come up with their own invention, draw and color it on the worksheet, then write about what it does.

I have also added a free second page of item cards. Feel free to use these when students are having a hard time coming up with their own inventions or you want to add a little fun to this project. Print and cut out 2 copies of the item cards sheet and put the 2 sets of cards into two separate bags (or envelopes). Then, have students choose a card from each bag and have them make an invention with the two items they chose.
