A great project to go with any geography lesson covering world landmarks! In this activity, students cutout and make toothpick flags of world landmarks to stick into a world map that they color and glue to foam board.
Included in download:
- 2 versions of the printable world map depending on how specific you want to get with the placements of the flags (in the example photo, I merely had students put them in the right continent since we were learning about Continents & Landmarks versus Countries & Landmarks)
- Flag printouts (2 sets per page) - after cutting out each flag, fold each paper in half and glue around the toothpicks to complete the flags
