Mystery Present Christmas Quiz

Get your students in the holiday spirit with this ready-to-play Christmas quiz! The questions may be easy, but things get a little more interesting when students have to choose their fate after answering correctly: Do they choose the blue or the yellow present? One contains a point value, the other a lump of coal.

How to play:

Feel free to adjust the rules/gameplay as needed for your classes as the game is very flexible.



• Students play in individually, in pairs, or in teams and each gets a mini whiteboard, marker, and eraser
• The game includes 12 multiple choice general knowledge questions about Christmas
• When asked a question, all teams answer at the same time by writing the letter of their answer on their board (A, B, C, or D)
• When time is up, everyone shows the teacher their answers by holding up their boards
• The answer is revealed on the PowerPoint and teams who get it correct get to choose a present on the following slide (blue or yellow)
• In the presents are points or a lump coal (0 points)
• NOTE: To make my job easier, I had teams keep track of their own scores on the other side of their boards
