Summer Vacation Find Someone Who + Bingo Game
☆ Created by The Cross-Cultural Classroom ☆
Have your students break-the-ice with these 2-part speaking and writing activities! They're great back-to-school activities after summer vacation to get students comfortable talking to each other about what they did during the break!
Part 1:
For part one of this activity, students will walk around the classroom and ask the other students if they did any of the activities in the boxes during vacation. If they did, they write their name on the line in the box. The goal is for students to try to write a name in every box before time is up. Feel free to also add a rule about how many times a student can write a single name depending on your class size.
Part 2:
For part two of this activity, students will choose 16 of the underlined words from the Find Someone Who game and write them in the boxes on their first Bingo board. Once all students are finished writing, proceed to play a game of Bingo! If there is time left, repeat the process for a second round.
