Save Your Planet - Earth Day Game

A fun quiz/review game with a unique scoring system making it the perfect way to wrap up any Earth Day lesson or unit!

How it works:

• Split students up into teams (can also play in pairs or individually if there aren’t too many students).
• Each team has a planet and each planet has 6 lives (represented by 6 hearts).
• First, the team chooses and answers a multiple-choice question.
• If they get the answer correct, they choose 1 of 3 circles on the following slide.
• Behind the circle is an icon which indicates if their planet gains or loses a life/heart.
• Planting Icon = Add 2 lives; Recycling Icon = Add 1 life; Pollution Icon = Subtract 1 life; Natural Disaster Icon = Subtract 2 lives
• The team whose planet has the most lives at the end of the game wins!

Format:

This game template has been created as a fun, animated PowerPoint and extra notes on how to play have been provided in the "Notes" sections of each slide. To make your job as easy as possible, all you have to do is add your own prompts/questions and answers to the 24 question slides and the game is ready to play!
